Page 1 of 3 Ok, here is the update. The A-20 Demon is almost ready for paint. The nose cone frame is shown in one photo, the next is it filled and shaped with blue foam, the last is it sitting on the nearly ready to paint rocket. The cone still needs to be with fiberglass and filled.

Comment by jtaylor on 2010-01-25 22:31:40 Is the cat OK? It hasn't moved since the first update... Rocket looks great - nice work on the nose cone. | Comment by nkinsey on 2010-01-25 22:41:29 Really nice nosecone. First time I've ever seen anyone do one like that. What're you flying it on? | Comment by driedel on 2010-01-26 06:49:17
| Comment by driedel on 2010-01-26 06:52:19 The cat is fine (sans rear leg, of course). He makes sure I build instead of watching TV. The cone was pretty easy to build and the method lends itself nicely to complex cones. Not sure on the motor yet. Need to get a final weight. Hopefully will be priming it this weekend once I get the glassing done for the cone. | Comment by jgoggins on 2010-01-26 12:37:23 Did you use wood strips to fabricate the nosecone or is that cardboard? is that a Pro38 on the table for your A20? |
