The MARS Board of Trustees wishes everyone a Happy New Year! We are also excited to announce the
officers for 2024.The MARS Board of Trustees for 2024 are Todd Smith, serving as Club President; Tom Ha, Vice President;
and Dan MacNeal, Treasurer.

Todd has served on the board since late summer of 2022 and formerly held the position of Vice
President.

Dan has been on the MARS Board of Trustees since 2021 and served as Treasurer for the past two years.

Tom has flown with MARS at Geneseo for 21 years and was the NARTS Chair and Treasurer for the NAR.

Tom is also the new MARS Sector Advisor for 2024.

The MARS Board of Trustees thanks outgoing Secretary Tom McCarthy for his service in 2023. Thank you,
Tom; your insight and calm demeanor will be missed!

Also leaving the board is Bill Clune. Bill served MARS as the Senior Advisor. We thank Bill for always
sharing his vast knowledge of rocketry with the club.

And we extend a huge thank you to outgoing Club President MaryBeth Clune. MaryBeth served the
MARS Board of Trustees as Club President for seven years. MaryBeth changed the face of the club during
her tenure, making MARS the family-friendly and inviting place it is today. Thank you, MaryBeth!

The role of Secretary is currently vacant on the MARS Board of Trustees. The board will be making an
official announcement regarding this position and seeking a club member to fill the vacancy soon.
