FriendsGiving 2023
What a Glorious weekend it turned out to be. With temps in the mid to upper 70’s the only thing that could put a damper on the flying was WIND and did we have wind! Gusts were so strong HP flying was mostly not feasible, but that didn’t stop us from having over a 150 flights! Robert Hilton came all the way from CT with his nearly completed “TikiBar” rocket trailer. Everything you could imagine from rocket storage to a cappuccino machine, he even made a seat strong enough for Bill Clune to safely sit in (word has special foam pads are coming from Santa)
MaryBeth cooked 3 turkeys with many others bringing enough side dishes. As we had hoped many people from neighboring clubs attended, many of the Museum volunteers and Pilots attended, we even had the NAR President John H. in attendance.
