October 2016 launch report
This was probably the warmest October launch since I joined the club. The weather did not disappoint and gave us some more wind and rain.
On Saturday Cub Scout pack 152 showed up and flew with us, the boys had a good time. Greg showed them how to pack their rockets.
Also on Sunday we celebrated Tom M. Birthday. Mary Beth baked a very delicious cake for the occasion and Bill did his best imitation of Marylin Monroe singing Happy Birthday Mister President. We had a very good time with that.
We had a failed level 2 flight. The motor blew on the pad.
Sunday we shut the range down a little early due to a incoming thunderstorm. The trailer was about 95% packed by the time the rain came.
